Thank you for your interest in an internship with the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS). Please be aware that our organization is part of the government of the State of Arizona and is not part of the federal government.
AZDOHS achieves our mission to protect Arizona by providing strategic direction and access to resources that will enable Arizona’s homeland security partners to achieve our common goals. In doing so, AZDOHS manages homeland security grants and provides strategic direction to other government agencies in Arizona.
AZDOHS periodically offers a very limited number of unpaid internships to current college students. The courses of study that most closely align with the organizational mission of AZDOHS include:
- Public Administration
- Finance
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Strategic Planning
- Project Management
If you feel that your interests or educational goals match the mission of AZDOHS, you are welcome to inquire by email or telephone Cheryl Bowen at (602) 542-7077. If your skills, abilities and interests do not match AZDOHS, but you are still interested in an internship with the State of Arizona, please visit the State of Arizona Internship webpage. |
